By submitting this application you are hereby applying to be a Club Member of The Oakville Lawn Bowling Club. As a Club Member, I agree to indemnify and save harmless the Club for damages or otherwise, which might be sustained by myself or guests during attendance or participation in any activity organized by the Club. I also agree to abide by the club’s code of conduct as published in the Club Handbook available on the club website, www.oakvillelawnbowling.ca

Personal information provided is for the use of Oakville Lawn Bowling Club members to assist in conducting club business. It will not be used for commercial or any other non-personal use or be distributed to a third party. Photos taken of you participating in Club activities may be used on the Club’s bulletin board or website.

Flat footwear must be worn on the green at all times.

Bowls are available at “no charge” to new bowlers for the first two years. After two years, it is expected you will purchase your own bowls or rent club bowls . Do not buy bowls until you know the correct size for you. Used bowls for sale are often posted on the club’s bulletin board or on the internet.

Once we have processed your application and received your membership fee, we will send you an email confirming your registration.

Volunteering at the Club

Our Club relies on volunteers to maintain the bowling green, provide hospitality for club events, leagues and tournaments, and draw masters to keep the Casual days and evening games organized. As a member, you are expected to volunteer for one of the following areas during your tenure at the club. Training is of course provided where necessary. Please indicate your volunteering interest to allow the club to direct your Executive Staff to those who might be interested in occupying volunteer positions for this season, and future seasons.
