Our 2026 Awards Luncheon
Our Awards Luncheon was held at the Oakville Club on Sunday, Nov. 2. There were 72 attendees who enjoyed a lovely lunch buffet of root soup, quinoa salad, chef’s salad, a variety of artisan sandwiches, fruit, cake, coffee, tea, and a drink of their choice.
Awards were presented to our club and league champions plus to our juniors who have won not just club championships but Provincial and National Championships as well! We had a beautiful day for this event with 50 participants for bowling. A new format was introduced (Game of Sixes), which was welcomed by everyone. The games were short with lots of movement between games to allow for more socializing. Our air conditioner was working full time, which allowed people to cool off between games. Afterwards a delicious meal of burgers, hot dogs, salad and chips was enjoyed by all. A special thank-you to our volunteers who helped in the kitchen, barbecued our burgers, and who helped with clean up. It is so nice to see how everyone pitches in to help with all our events. We have a terrific, vibrant club!
