Our 2026 Junior Program Details
We are proud to offer junior instruction in the great game of lawn bowling thanks to our dedicated member coaches. Our Juniors have gone on to participate in provincial and national tournaments, representing the club amazingly well. Below are the details of our 2026 Junior Program!
Days and Times – Sunday mornings from 10am to 11:30 am
Dates – Our program runs from May 17 to June 28, 2026
Cost – $90 covers all the junior expenses such as t-shirts, snacks, prizes and BBQs
Age – Participants can be ages 8 to 17 years
Dress code – Juniors will wear the t-shirt provided and are also required to wear flat-soled shoes
Additional Events – We will have a singles and pairs junior club championship as well as specialty days such as ‘Bring Family and Friends Day’ – these events typically start around 9am and run until 12 noon(ish!).
How to register – There is a limit of 20 children for this program annually. Our Junior Application Form is linked below – please complete to express your interest in having your junior join the program! For any questions, feel free to contact oakvillelawnbowls@gmail.com.

OLBC juniors earn silver at Canadian Championships (2025)
Dekker Ly (left) and Rebecca Coon (right) competed at the 2025 Canadian Youth & Junior Championships from August 11-16, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta. They each played in the Gold/Silver final matches (boys and girls), and were tied at the end of their games. A one-end tiebreaker was played in both matches, and they each came away with Silver medals! Congratulations – we are so proud of their accomplishments!
